Inquiry into Apprenticeships

Evidence from Financial Skills Partnership

Further to the inquiry into Apprenticeships in Wales, we would like to make the following points:-

· In order to promote apprenticeships in Wales and increase take-up, we feel there should be more promotion of apprenticeships made by the key stakeholders including The Welsh Assembly Government, Employers and Apprenticeship providers via Television, Radio and other social media.

· The Financial Skills Partnership would be keen to be part of this work with the Welsh Assembly Government and other key stakeholders with the work we are currently doing via ‘Directions’ – www.directions.org.uk
